Triple the Fun at Spring Auctions America Auburn 2017
The Auctions America Auburn Spring event – the perfect cure for cabin fever – was a three-day event held at the Auburn Park in Auburn, IN beginning May 11. More than just an auction, members of the AACA and CCCA held a combined meet on the grounds, each one vying for the next-level award for their vintage classics. In addition to the car meet, a “Cars and Coffee” get-together was held for anyone who wanted to show off his or her set of wheels and swap some “back-in-the-day” car stories. To round off this weekend collector car extravaganza, there was also a swap meet and car corral for car enthusiasts looking for some great deals. Here are some of the sights from a weekend that proved to be just what the doctor ordered.

Level 5 Auto Sports & Military Vehicle Auction
One whole day was devoted to the sale of the “Level 5 Auto Sports” racing inventory. This included everything used in high-end competition, from tools, communication gear, pit tool boxes, and on and on. Ten exotic race cars were included in this sale, Ferraris and Porsches along with spare body parts and even spare engines. One of the Ferraris sold for $462,000. Another attention getter at the auction was the sale of several military pieces of equipment, and we are not talking about small arms. These were genuine war machines with two WWII tanks at the top of the list. You have to wonder what type of background check you have to pass to buy one of these. Here’s a look a few of these unique items.
