Yenko

A highlight of Friday’s Mecum Kissimmee auction was the sale of the Cliff Ernst ’69 Camaro Yenko collection – six legendary pony cars sporting the Yenko enhancements and COPO 427 CID upgrade. This collection featured the rare ’69 prototype Yenko which caused a bidding war and resulted in the most expensive Camaro ever sold at $1,815,000.

An additional Yenko muscle car in this collection was a 1969 Nova, 1 of just 38 with 427 upgrades. It also set a record price for a Nova, selling at $852,500.

Sale Prices include sales commission.
