Raleigh Classic

The Raleigh Classic, held at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, NC, is where good old southern hospitality meets fast paced auction block bidding. More than 300 vehicles were offered for sale in this two-day auction, featuring low-mileage collector cars. Many of them are original, unrestored finds, while others have been returned to showroom condition or better. Each year, car enthusiasts look forward to the late spring edition of the Raleigh Classic, where they’ve become accustomed to expect the unexpected – automotive gems around every corner. Here are some of the automobiles that crossed the auction block, including the top six sales.

Woody Lineup

It wasn’t hard to find a wood-trimmed car at this auciton.   There were both Ford and Mercury Woodys, as well as a couple of Woodys from GM.   There was even a Chrysler Woody in the mix.   Here are more of these fun times rides in addition to those already listed above.
