Hot August Nights in Reno is one of those places that people and cars gravitate. Revving engines, eye-catching body work (both in color and style), and spectacular customizations make this the one of the most fun and popular classic car events of the year. Thousands of cars come from all across the country to this week-long festival of cars, some to compete for the coveted Barrett-Jackson Cup, which has become an integral part of this event.
One of these cars is the 2014 Ridler Award winner, a 1964 Buick Riviera, which was also a 2014 Goodguys Street Machine of the Year finalist. This video captures the owner and builder, J.F. Launier, as he cruises into the Atlantis parking lot. He stops for a short chat about his special car, called Rivision.
