Approximately 55,000 spectators attended the 2015 Daytona Beach Spring Turkey Rod Run the last weekend in March, where 1,795 colorful classics (1,236 on the show field and 559 in the car corral) and 425 swap meet vendors decorated the infield of the Daytona International Speedway. A major highlight of this three-day car show, aside from having the opportunity to see so many classics together, in one place, is Sundays "Classics on the Track." Everyone who brings a car to the Turkey Rod Run has the chance to take their vehicle around the Speedway's track, providing an exciting experience for the owners and excellent photo ops for the spectators. Another highlight, also on Sunday, is the presentation of the People's Choice Award, which this year was awarded to a 1940 Ford Deluxe.
