March, 2016 -- Bonhams, in its second year in Amelia Island, is making its presence known. This year, their top seller, a 1937 Bugatti Type 57SC Sports Tourer, sold for $9,735,000(including premium).
In its seventh year on Amelia Island, Gooding and Company continues to bring some of the best cars to auction. It was standing room only, as the top sale of the auction was for a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider at $17,160,000 (including premium).
RM/Sotheby's is the official auction house for the Amelia Island Concours. The high sale, $4.4 million, was for a 1962 Ferrari 400 Superamerica LWB Coupe Aerodinamico.
