Carlisle Spring Auction 2023
Springtime in the Keystone State means it’s time for the annual Carlisle Classic Car Swap Meet, one of the largest in the country. A two-day auction, this year featuring over 400 vehicles, is a major part of this mega event. The auction featured Corvettes, Cadillacs, a gorgeous 1956 Ford Sunliner, a pair of vintage Packards, and even a rare 1956 Lincoln Premier convertible.
The top sale was an original first-year Corvette. Only 300 Vettes were built in 1953 with this one being #100 in the production run. Multiple collectors wanted this special Corvette, so a bidding war broke out that didn’t end until the hammer finally fell at $300,000.
