Carlisle Fall Auction 2022
In all, over 550 vehicles crossed the auction block during the two-day sale at Carlisle’s annual fall auction at the Carlisle, PA Expo Center. It became a true bidding war for a real-deal 1969 Pontiac Trans Am. At a final price of $98,280, this muscle car topped the sales leaderboard for the highest sold vehicle of the auction. Although bidding went even higher, at $130,000, for a 1967 Impala SS427 convertible, it didn’t sell because it didn’t reach its reserve.
The auction was held in conjunction with the Fall swap meet which took place on their 80+ acre fairgrounds across the street. Along with 8,000 vendor swap meet spaces, the event also had a huge car corral for owners wanting to sell directly to interested buyers. For car guys on the east coast, this is the place to be if you’re looking for parts, project vehicles, or ready-to-cruise rides.
Here’s a look at some of the highlights of the auction and car corral.
