2015 Goodguys Charlotte

The 22nd Annual Southeastern Nationals in Charlotte kicked off today under blue skies and warm 80 degree fall temperatures. This is the first of three days of “Full Throttle Fun” at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. 2015 Barrett-Jackson Cup, Reno

The journey to the selection of the Barrett-Jackson Cup winner began on Wednesday by judging performed by renowned judges, Pete Chapouris, Bob Millard and Bobby Alloway. RM Sothebys held their 17th annual auction at Amelia Island offering 99 collector cars for sale during March Car Week on the Island. This was the first auction under the new partnership with Sotheby’s. The classics on the docket included European exotics and American vintage vehicles.  Read More.

2015 Gooding & Co., Amelia Island

The run list for Gooding & Co. 2015 Amelia Island auction, which consisted of 85 collector cars, was heavy on European sports cars and classics, including Ferraris, Porsches, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguars. A 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 took top honors as the highest sale, by bringing in $3 million.  Read More.

2015 America’s Most Beautiful Roadster (AMBR)

Larry Olson’s 1933 Ford Roadster won the America’s Most Beautiful Roadster trophy at the 2015 Grand National Roadster Show.  It was built at Bobby Alloway’s shop in Tennessee.
